GK, who played in UEFA Super Cup a day earlier, joins Al Hilal… Neymar, Neves in the mix
Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, 32, who started the UEFA Super Cup and kept Manchester City’s attack at bay, has joined Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal.
Al Hilal officially announced the signing of goalkeeper Yassin Bunu on the club’s website and social media channels on Monday (Nov. 18). Bunu has signed a three-year contract that runs until 2026.
Bunu joined Atletico Madrid in 2014 and played for Real Zaragoza and Girona before joining Sevilla. He has since established himself as a first-team regular and has made 142 official appearances for Sevilla.
Recognized for his goalkeeping prowess, Bounou has also represented Morocco since 2013, culminating in his best performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where he helped Morocco reach the quarterfinals.먹튀검증
After leaving Europe for Saudi Arabia, Bounou was still playing in Europe with Sevilla until the last 17 days.
Bounou started the UEFA Super Cup match against Manchester City at 4 a.m. on Sunday, making six saves and leading his team to a penalty shootout. With the score 1-1, Sevilla went into the penalty shootout and lost when Nemanja Guday missed.
Sevilla announced on their official website on August 18: “Bunu will have an official farewell ceremony in the near future. The club would like to thank Bunu for his efforts and the results he has achieved and wish him the best of luck in his new future.”
With his arrival at Al Hilal, Bunu will now play alongside the likes of João Moutinho and Neymar, who have also left the club.
