In the final round of the Songam Cup held at the Daegu Country Club (par 72) on the 25th, Pi Seung-hyeon recorded a 1-over par of 73. He won the championship with a final total of 16 under par 272. College senior Cha Woo-jin took 1st place, and high school student Chun Hyo-seop took 2nd and 3rd place, respectively, by 3 strokes.

‘Songam Foundation’, established for the tournament, is the first pure golf scholarship foundation in Korea to receive a corporate license from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The first tournament held only the men’s division, and from the second tournament in 1995, the women’s division was newly established.
